Miscellaneous Matters

Deputy Dickerson from the Warren County Sheriff’s office was the first to take the floor. He stated he did not have any official business to relate but did report they were working on the speeding problems in the area. He said there had been a large number of car break-ins lately and asked that residents lock their cars. Dick Dare mentioned that the township appreciated what the sheriff’s office did for our area.

Barbara Fath gave a report on the garden activity for the food pantry garden. They produced over 600 pounds of produce this summer. They would like to use the ground again next year for another garden project. Not only did they produce the fresh vegetables, but they had area residents working in the garden.

Donald Lynch was the next to take the floor. He stated he had spent the day reviewing court records. He believes some information has been deleted. He also stated he had been in touch with the state attorney general and the state auditor. He again stated he thinks he is being discriminated in the way he is being treated in zoning matters. He brought up the fence issue. He continued by requesting that the zoning inspector be dismissed from duty. He had several papers stating his charges against the zoning and other issues which will be placed in his file.

Ron Stratton congratulated the two trustees who were re-elected to serve another term. Let it be noted that Mr. Dare and Mr. Kilburn were the winners in the election on November 3rd.
